UNU Novi Sad is announcing

THE 5th INTERNATIONAL CONTEST OF SMALL FORMAT ARTWORK

in the disciplines of: drawing, painting, printmaking and photograph.

All four disciplines are equally graded, certificates are awarded to prominent artists and the best three artworks are rewarded.

The prizes are awarded by a jury made up of an academic printmaker,
academic painter, academic photographer and an art historian.

The contest includes a combination of techniques, monotypes, collages… it DOES NOT include digital prints, architectural and
design work.

Maximum artwork size is A4.

Note: the photographs must be developed. It is recommended to be from the same series.

Participation fee is 1000.00 RSD (regarding the number of sent artwork) the payment is made into the
Association’s account: 160-388507-10 with the indication: participation fee for the contest, recipient UNU Novi Sad. Fill in the application in capital letters and sent it along
with the payment slip and artwork to the following address: UNU Novi Sad, 21000 Novi Sad, Bulevar Oslobođenja 26/10 (with the indication: for contest).

Foreign participants (outside Serbia) are not required to pay the
participation fee.

Each participant is entitled to participate with two artworks at most.

The submitted works will not be returned, but will instead become a
part of the UNUNS’s Legacy. UNUNS’s Legacy makes an indivisible whole and represents a cross-section of art in the 21st century.

The participants can choose between a given theme or a theme of their own choice. This year’s given theme is “Biserna grana” – traditional folk costumes throughout the world.

The organizers are obliged to regularly inform the participants of
all the exhibitions related to this contest through website, e-mail
or facebook page. The making of a digital and printed catalogue is planned.

THE 4th INTERNATIONAL CONTEST OF SMALL FORMAT ARTWORK

At the 4th international contest of small format artwork which has been announced by the Association of Independent Artists of Novi Sad in March 2016, 82 artists from 8 countries applied with 156 artworks in the following disciplines: drawing, painting, printmaking and photograph.

The judging committee which consisted of: Svetlana Suzdaljceva, academic painter (Pokrov – Russia), Ljiljana Maksimović, art historian (Belgrade– Srbija), Adnan Hozo, academic printmaker (Sarajevo – BH) and Vladimir Červenka, academic photographer (Sr. Karlovci – Serbia), has awarded three prizes and four Honourable mentions to the best artworks that have arrived at this year’s contest.

  • First prize: Jelena Ružojčić, BH, printmaking – combined technique.
  • Second prize: Živoslav Jovanović Lola, Serbia, drawing – combined technique.
  • Third prize: Jelena Jovančov, Montenegro, printmaking – mezzotint
  • Honourable mention Milana Savanović, Serbia, photography – digital, black and white
  • Honourable mention Branimir Maksimovic, BIH, painting- oil on canvas
  • Honourable mention Maja Lazić, Serbia, drawing – combined technique
  • Honourable mention Natalia Root , Russia, painting- oil on canvas

This year, in addition to the judging committee’s awards,  there will be an Audience Award. On the facebook page of UNUNS there is an Album with the artworks that have passed jury selection, but did not get an award or an Honourable mention. We invite the audience to vote for the best artwork. The artwork which receives the highest number of likes by 12am on September 30th 2016 will win the Audience Award. Good luck!

The idea is for the exhibition to be displayed in several different places in order to popularize and promote the authors and their artworks, as well as to organize, every five years, a retrospective exhibition of all the artworks in the past five years.

3rd INTERNATIONAL CONTEST OF SMALL FORMAT

At the 3rd International exhibition and contest of small format works, which has been announced by the Association of Independent Artists of Novi Sad in July 2015, 32 artists from 7 countries applied with 54 works in the following disciplines: drawing, painting, graphics and photography. After the session held on the 28th September 2015 , the judging committee has unanimously awarded three prizes, one Honorable mention and a special prize.

The 3rd international competition of small format that was announced by the Association of Independent Artists of Novi Sad in July 2015, reported the 31 artist from 7 countries with 50 papers in the disciplines: drawing, painting, graphics and photos. After the session held on 28.09.2015. , the expert committee has awarded three prizes, one commendation and a special prize:

  • First prize: Jelena Indic, Sabac, Serbia
  • Second Prize: Teodora Stojanovic, Belgrade, Serbia
  • Third prize: Edina Besic, Sarajevo, BiH
  • Honorable mention: Victoria Henry Pettersson, Malmo Sweden
  • Special Award: Dobrivoj Rajic, Novi Sad, Serbia

Congratulations to all participants who have passed the jury selection. A series of exhibitions of selected works will be organised in several different galeries in Serbia. The print and digital catalogs are in preparation. The first exhibition of works from this year’s competition will be held in Stara Pazova, 05th October 2015. in the Gallery of Cultural Centre of Stara Pazova, Svetosavska 27 Opening of the exhibition in 19h. Den dritten internationalen Wettbewerb

Der Verein der unabhängigen Künstler (UNS) in Novi Sad kündigt den dritten internationalen Wettbewerb an in den Disziplinen: Zeichnung, Malerei, Grafiken und Fotos.

Alle vier Disziplinen werden gleichermaßen beurteilt und drei Preise werden für die beste Werke verteilt.

Die Preise werden von Jury verteilt, die aus einem akademischen Grafiker, akademischen Maler, akademischen Fotograf und akademischen Kunsthistoriker besteht.

Der Wettbewerb umfasst eine Kombination von Techniken, Monotypien, Collagen… aber er enthält keine Digitaldrucke, Architektur- und Designarbeiten.

Die maximale Größe der Werke: A4

Hinweis: Es empfiehlt sich, Fotos in den gleichen Art zu machen und sie ausgearbeitet zu senden.

Die Teilnahmegebühr ist 1000,00 din aufs Konto des Vereins einzuzahlen:

160-388507-10.

Die Anmeldung in Druckbuchstaben ausfüllen und zusammen mit dem Einzahlungsschein und Werke an die folgende Adresse schicken: Bulevar Oslobođenja 26/10, 21 000 Novi Sad, Serbien.

Teilnehmer aus dem Ausland (außerhalb Serbiens) zahlen keine Gebühr auf Grund der hohen Kosten für Porto für das Senden der Werke.

Der Teilnehmer ist berechtigt, mit zwei Werken teilzunehmen.

Eingereichte Werke werden nicht zurückgeschickt, sondern werden Teil des UNUNS Legats .

UNUNS Legat macht ein untrennbares Ganzes.

Organisatoren sind verpflichtet, regelmäßig die Teilnehmer über alle Ausstellungen an diesem Wettbewerb über die Website, E-Mail oder Facebook zu informieren. Der Katalog wird in digitaler Form auf der Website: ununs.org zusammen mit den Namen der preisgekrönten Künstler in der zweiten Hälfte des Septembers 2015 veröffentlicht.

Die Uraufführung der dritten internationalen Ausstellung von Kleinformat findet mit dem gedruckten Katalog am 5. Oktober 2015 im Kulturzentrum von Stara Pazova statt.

Einsendeschluss ist am 1. September 2015.

At the second International exhibition and contest of small format works, which has been announced by the Association of Independent Artists of Novi Sad in February 2014, 32 artists from 5 countries applied with 54 works in the following disciplines: drawing, painting, graphics and photography. After the session held on the 30th November 2014, the judging committee has unanimously awarded three prizes:

  • 2. Nenad Karlić (Srbija – Novi Sad) i Safet Begić (BIH – Sarajevo) – photos
  • 3. Miroslav Munižaba (Srbija – Sremska Mitrovica) – paintings
